Bagles in the skyReader comment on item: Bagels in Dubai Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 16, 2008 at 18:28 Bagles? Very interesting but I remember while in Cario eating something called sammet which is not unlike a bagel with lots of sesame seeds and it is really good and it goes down very nicely with Jibna roomy or Italian cheese which is not unlike aged provolone cheese and a cold beer called Stella. Yum But the alcohol in this sky high bar is a bit much. But again the Arabs in general and the Saudis in partciular are hypocrites. The Saudis love Johnnie Walker scotch and they even Arabize it as: Yuhanna mashi and if you add ice it will be Yuhanna mashi bil talj or John who walks with ice and so much for the alcohol prohibition and islam Thank you Dr. Pipes, you made me hungry Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
