An attempt to silence criticsReader comment on item: Why Is CAIR Suing Anti-CAIR? Submitted by Ruth Lowry (United States), Apr 8, 2004 at 22:47 So CAIR is suing Andrew Whitehead's ANTI-CAIR? Nothing suprises me about what I personally consider to be an insidious organization with proven ties and certainly sympathy with and support for terrorist philosophy and actions. My own research has convinced me of the devious workings of fundamentalist Muslim minds. For one thing, they love to make THREATS of any sort whatsoever; they play "the nice guy with one hand while holding a dagger in the other: they LIE as easily as I eat pie. This time however, I believe they have put their feet in their collective mouths. They will have a hard time proving their "case" (if indeed a court agrees to even hear it and if so said court does not "throw it out" on day one. Hooper would have to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that anything he claims Mr.Whitehead stated about CAIR has done actual injury to that "esteem" organization. I do agree that MUCH can be discovered ... if only in the discovery phase of the "case," about the workings of CAIR that Hooper would much rather NOT be "discovered." IF they continue with their folly, I hope Mr.Whitehead COUNTERSUES. I'm sure there are many lawyers who would gladly do a "pro bono" for him. He could even represent himself. I have no doubt he would win and expose CAIR in the process.
