All languages are capable of being translatedReader comment on item: Non-Muslim Politicians Immersed in the Koran Submitted by JSobieski (United States), Jan 2, 2009 at 03:45 In the US, English translations of the Koran are being used with converts. Are these people being duped? The religious texts of Islam create an ideology that is incompatible with Western style government and rights. Your Muslim friends may be great people, but that is because they do not focus their behavior on the example of Muhammed or on the Koran. If they did, they couldn't be your friend. Islam teaches strikingly different moral rules between believers and non-believers. In contrast to Judaism or Christianity, which provide things like the 10 Commandments (not the 10 Commandments for Jews dealing with other Jews) or the Beatitudes. People who are intensely focused on the religious texts of Islam are a danger to us. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
