You are talking about islam based on other's points of view and this is not the better way to analyse (logically) anything. I hope you see what I mean. All your predictions for the future of islam are based on information from the same source and therefore your analysis space is limited by this information ans so will be your conclucions (It is very difficult to get out with results outside your pre-established borders).

What I suggests is that you can try to get more information on islam and it is important that it comes from different sources. Then try to understand, analyses and compile this information. Then I am sure that you will see lot of things that you do not see now.
