It is not the issue of Israel aloneReader comment on item: Explaining Israel's Strategic Mistakes Submitted by Amitabh Tripathi (India), Jan 28, 2009 at 10:11 Middle East politics in itself is a complex subject which holds the key of several strife for more than thousands years. Middle East is a laboratory to measure growth of Modern values and system. Birth of Israel was a significant step in the beginning of the end of Islamic hegemoney in the world but in last eight decades we have witnessed how radical Islamist movement is building on the ruins of Khilafat. Conflict in Middle East has always been seen and portrayed in isolation as a conflict between two states which is not correct and this is the reason why radical Islamist movement in the whole world has not been challenged with any uniform policy. Conflict between Israel and Arab palestine is a decisive battle of ideas which will decide the fate of civilized society as a whole whether it succumbs under the pressure of radical Islamists to live under shari'a rule with tribal mindset or make it truly democratic world. Few months ago Geert Wilders has categrically stated in Israel that this country is on the front line of battle of Jihad and its defeat or victory is going to decide the future of Europe and America also. I want to add one more thing here that radical Islamist movement has spread its tentacles in South Asia with all of its intensity and is no more a less danger for the world. At last but not least I commend all the efforts of Dr Daniel Pipes to make aware people about the issues of Middle East with his frank and deep insightful analysis.
