Ah - the mutual respect!!!

"the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago, there's no reason why we can't restore that."

Lets's see what kind of respect and parternership Muslims had it with America 20 to 30 years back: Two or three examples will suffice:

1: During 1970's, Muslims from middle east, hijacked several TWA planes and killed Americans and blew up planes.

2: An American journalist, Terry Anderson, was held hostage for years by Muslim terrorists in Lebanon.

3: In 1979, Iranians under Khomeni overthrew Shah of Iran, attacked and captured US embassy and kept American diplomats hostages for about a year. Of course the diplomats were mistreated and brutally handled by Iranian Muslims. there is some evidence the the present Thug-in- Chief of Iran was involved in hostage takever of US embassy.

So Obama wants the good old days of this kind of "respect" from Muslims to come back!!! This is the respect Muslim world was showing for Americans 20 to 30 years back.as they have always done for last 1400 years for all non-Muslims!

Or maybe he doesn't know the history
