islam is not respectful of anyone but themselves, sometimes not even then.

Reader comment on item: Obama, "Respect" and Muslims

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Apr 9, 2009 at 00:52

Respect is a two way street. We have been respectful of islam and some muslims are respectful back.

Many muslims are not respectful towards non muslims. The "prophet" mohammed taught disrespect towards non muslims.

Some muslims are not respectful towards other muslims who are in a different sect. Some muslim countries have killed other muslims simply because they were in a rival country. How many people who are muslims have murdered people in their own family just to recapture "honor".

The religion of islam will not be getting any real respect until it stops acting like a death cult. This is sad because there are many good muslims in the world.
