False advertising

Reader comment on item: Public Ads for Islam in the West

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Mar 8, 2009 at 19:18

Abraham, Moses and Jesus were not Muslims and it offends me to have them used in an ad for Islam. Imagine using Mohammed in an ad for Christianity or Judaism! There would be riots, and a fatwa would be ordered for whomever was responsible.

I will not protest this by violence, but by word of mouth. In fact, they were all Jews---Abraham by God's grace, Moses and Jesus Christ by birth. This type of advertisement should be removed immediately, but I suppose it won't be. If I saw such a thing in my neighbourhood, you can be sure that I would go straight to the top with this issue.
