Interesting about Ayatollah Khomeini -- another reason to prefer the ShiitesReader comment on item: Talking Freely about the Enemy Submitted by Charles Martel (United States), Mar 10, 2009 at 11:30 It is unfortunate that we are married to the Sunni demons of the House of Saud/Wahabis. Shiite Islam is definitely the less dangerous of the two versions: --they are clearly more open to reinterpretation with circumstances (this is only the latest example) and --the Persians are definitely several cuts above their Sunni Moslem neighbors on every side. and --Shiites are the minority -- they will never conquer/convert the Moslem world (and it would be better on the off chance they did.) I hope that we will get out of Iraq, let it become a Shiite satellite of Iran (which we stupidly ensured by getting rid of Saddam) and sit back and watch the fun when the Iranian alliance takes on the Saudi alliance.
