Karam Al-Hashmi: The Koran teaches Muslims to hate and kill all disbelievers in AllahReader comment on item: Obama, the Middle East and Islam - An Initial Assessment Submitted by Plato (India), Apr 6, 2009 at 23:44 Karam, you wrote: >>The Holy Quran is calling for Peace and Love between all humanbeings,..<< Mr. Karam I am sure you have not read the Koran. You are just repeating what the imams or your parents told you. Read these verses from the Koran, think over them, search for their context and the different translations and come back and tell us the Koran is asking for peace and love: Qur'an:4:77 "Have you not seen those to whom it was said: Withhold from fighting, perform the prayer and pay the zakat. But when orders for fighting were issued, a party of them feared men as they ought to have feared Allah. They say: 'Our Lord, why have You ordained fighting for us, why have You made war compulsory?'" 002.216 YUSUFALI: Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. [FIGHT EVEN IF YOU DISLIKE IT] 009.111 YUSUFALI: Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme. 009.029 YUSUFALI: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 009.038 YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. Karam, 4:77 tells Muslims with a peaceful bent of mind that war has been made compulsory for them. And Muslims have followed this verse faithfully and have been at war with themselves when no enemy is in sight or with the Other till modern times. Again in 2:216 prescribes fighting for Muslims and Allah says war is good for them. Muslims have kept their faith in this verse by leaving a trail of blood from the time this verse was revealed to them. In 9:111 Allah GUARANTEES Muslims a place in paradise if they are killed or KILL in His cause. 9:29 is a COMMAND from Allah to fight unbelievers. There are nearly 5 billion unbelievers on earth today. Muslims are again faithfully following this order of Allah by fighting unbelievers wherever and whenever they can. >>… and forbids killing any human being without justification!<< 008.067 YUSUFALI: It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. 8:67 MOHSIN KHAN: It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allah desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. I have given three translations of 8:67. Yusuf Ali uncomfortable with what the verse is saying (which is murder of the prisoners) tries to mislead the non -Arabic speaking reader by saying 'it is not fitiing for a prophet to take prisoners of war'. The ALL-MERCIFUL Allah is telling the prophet that he should have massacred the prisoners he took at the Badr battle as the sword-happy Omar and the blood thirsty (recall what judgment he gave against the Bani Quraiza) Saad Muahd desired (read the biography of the prophet to get the context of this verse). Allah seems to think that killing prisoners instead of taking ransom for them is a better deal. Was this order of Allah to kill prisoners of war justified?? 009.107 YUSUFALI: And there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; But Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars. 009.110 YUSUFALI: The foundation of those who so build is never free from suspicion and shakiness in their hearts, until their hearts are cut to pieces. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise. Read what is underlined. Here your Allah is telling the prophet that those who had put up a rival mosque by way of mischief deserve to have their hearts cut to pieces. Is it justified to cut to pieces those who build mosques that rival yours? Muslims do seem to think so if what you read about what is happening in Pakistan is any indication (the Shia-Sunni bombings of mosques). >>Read the Holy Quran thoroughly and you will it much easier than you you just said!<< Yes read the Koran thoroughly and try to find verses that abrogate or contradict the verses I have quoted above. >> I don't believe in any Imam would justify killing innocent people, I consider those Imams if they so exist as you say, out of their minds!<< You are from Saudi Arabia but yet your saying that imams do not justify killing innocent people is nothing but taqia (deception) to mislead your readers. You have also covered your behind by saying 'innocent people'. As per the Koran all idol worshippers are guilty of the worst possible crime against Allah and your Imams can claim that killing them is justified as they are not innocent by this law. Visit this Saudi site to get a taste of what your Imams are preaching right in your mosques: http://alminbar.com/searchresults.asp?Topic=6&Keyword=&Khateeb=%25&City=%25&Khutbahno=%25&Submit.x=22&Submit.y=8&offset=0 >>And as such I don't believe in what they say or might say in the future if is against the Holy Book (The Quran)!<< Read some of the khutbas on the Alminbar site. They all justify their hate speeches with references to the Koran, Sunnah and hadith. I have quoted some verses from the Koran and if they quote these verses are they saying anything against the Koran? >>I am against any freak who would try to say something against all the Holy books and not only the Quran!<< You have judged all those who speak up about the hatred in the Koran to be freaks. Now after reading the verses I have given above do you consider me a freak? >>So, just stop this stupid debates which would'nt lead us to any where!<< This debate can lead us to true knowledge of what the Koran is teaching its followers: HATE AND DESTROY ALL UNBELIEVERS IN ALLAH.
