false accusations!!!Reader comment on item: Jerusalem Means More to Jews Than to Muslims Submitted by The defender. (United Kingdom), Apr 22, 2009 at 18:37 Muhamad (peace upon him) did go to jerusalem it is where he assanded to heaven. In fact all nearly all the muslim prophets want to jerusalem. It was the first praying direction but then the prophet was ordered to take mecca as praying direction. And Jerusalem is actually in the qur'an: "Glory to Allah, Who did take His servant for a journey by night, from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque(in jerusalem), whose precincts We did bless - in order that We might show him some of Our signs. For He is the One who hears and knows all things." (Qur'an 17:1) Conclusion Don't do any conclusion without proofs. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: That little item in parentheses "in Jerusalem" is not in the Koran. I explain the topic at length in "The Muslim Claim to Jerusalem," part II. Good point about nto jumping to conclusion without proof. << Previous Comment Next Comment >> Reader comments (22) on this item
