Islamic DangerReader comment on item: [Brandon Mayfield Case:] "If You Are Muslim, You Are Suspect" Submitted by Dan Rusen (Canada), Jun 1, 2004 at 13:58 Mayfield is only a symptom of what Islam is all about. Very clearly in their Ku'ran the rules are set: world domination for Islam, even at the point of a sword. Soft pedaling this will only increase the danger to the west, as we see now in Europe where anti western and particularly antisemitic sentiments are daily news. Nobody is made safer or morally superior by declaring Islam a friendly and great religion. The President of the USA has declared the nation to be "at war with terrorism". Estimates run as high as 20,000 militant Islamists living in the US, which is a frightening thought to be sure. Question is why is this tolerated in a time of war? Surely it is the height of folly KNOWINGLY to harbor and protect a fifth column enemy right in our own back yards. Back in WWII when this nation actually did have some grit when it came to making tough decisions, the Japanese were rounded up and placed where they could present no problem to the nation as it fought the Empire of Japan. Perhaps some of the measures were indeed too Draconian, but the nation was a lot safer for it. Who knows how much damage was avoided by taking these measures? But almost sixty years of Liberalism, guilt, and breast beating in the West have weakened the resolve as well as the common sense of all democracies. We can see clearly what the trouble is, we can identify many of our potentially dangerous enemy groups...and yet the pols choose to ignore all of it in order to score a few more leftist liberal votes. It may be predicted without doubt that it will take a few more truly disastrous attacks finally to admit that strong anti-Islamist measures must be taken. In the mean time how many citizens will be killed or maimed by the "peaceloving"enemy among us?
