(In fact, over one-half of the country is opposed to the Patriot Act.) Also, he apparently prayed in the wrong Mosque. What would happen if churches and synagogues were to be investigated as to the social views of their clergy and those who worshipped there were to be presumed to hold the same views? Our interest in state security cannot be a reason to lock people up for their associations and their ideas.
