PREFERING AHMEDINEJADReader comment on item: Rooting for Ahmadinejad Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), Jun 12, 2009 at 16:26 I guess Daniel, what you are saying is " better the devil you know that the one you don't". To me the existing president reminds me of the dog that barks but does not bite, though if he ends up with nuclear power, that will be the bite. But truly , why are we worried so much about North Korea and not judging Iran by the same parameters? They both look dangerous. Same with Obama who hammers Ahmedinejad for his denial of the Holocaust while not making any mention of Abbas who wrote his thesis supporting the fact that the Holocauust never existed. Obama is sure no historian, a politician maybe but no historian. As for head over heart,, I may go along and it kinda reminds me that Obama was voted from the heart and not the head. You are now looking at politics like business where the heart does not have to play any role, only the head. At least, it has always been my case Many thanks for your continued input JACQUES HADIDA Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
