Where? Where It Has Always Been - In the WORD of the LORD

Reader comment on item: The Middle Eastern Cold War
in response to reader comment: So, where support will be found?

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jun 23, 2009 at 15:15

It took a while to percolate some thoughts that one might propose to answer this previous post, for much has been written that has provided insight to the crisis in the Middle East, yet ignored for the lack of seeking the Biblical basis necessary to have a correct understanding about what is happening to Israel at the hands of the rest of the world. Controversely, some have written to leave religion (whether Christian or Islam) out of deciding who has a more perfect right to the land currently in possession of Israel, but that fails the situation for the evidence directly supports a Jewish superior right, underwritten by the WORD of Israel's LORD, the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel). There is no better support than that.

Many have argued, and argue still that a Biblical perspective is old fashioned and out of date in these things, and that by the world's humanistic perception, Israel's superior right can be bargained away for peace. Really?

Who placed Israel in the land in the first place? Her LORD the Almighty God.

When the ancient Israeli people became disobedient to the LORD Almighty God, Who told them to return to Him and be forgiven of her iniquities of serving false gods, or else to be eventually taken prisoner by the Assyrians, Babylonians? Or what of the dispersion? Israel's Almighty God is Who. Yet, even in His pronouncement of the captivity, the return was predicted, and happened just as He said.

In the pattern of Biblical predictions, Israel was to be taken from their land for subsequent judgment, and returned for verification of the WORD of the LORD. This has been done.

The world tries and continues to think that Israel can be handled at the whim of political powers that have no clue as to how to deal with Israel, because they do not believe. That will be the means of their undoing, for in unbelief is judgment; and judgment is coming – no – its beginning is already here.

Where is the support Israel needs against the imperialism of Iran (even as the world watches the Islamic dominance crush their own Iranian people), the criminal practices of Hizbollah, and the power that comes from the radical elements of Islam? Or what support is there against the intrusions of the rest of the world? It is not in America, but it is in the WORD of the LORD, where such things have already been considered, and judgment is waiting for those who defy Almighty God, such as we now see coming from the powers that be in the United States, which still try to employ the 'Road Map to Peace', 'Two State Solution', or whatever other political ploy attempted to force Israel from her rightful place in the land.

Think there is pandemonium now ? What is next is promised to be even more shocking as the world finds it cannot ignore the WORD of the LORD any longer, for it will be in their faces for all to see if they do not forsake their iniquities and seek His face for mercy.
