This is a novel line of thinking!Reader comment on item: "ISNA Rejects All Expressions of Racism and Bigotry" Submitted by B.N.Gururaj (India), Jul 19, 2009 at 05:40 The writer's view deserves to be further explored. It is indeed new line of thinking that I have come across. At least amongst the main stream critics of Islam, none seems to have explored as to what inspired Islam and its violent ideology. Only question to the writers is which Roman are you talking about, the Pagan Romans before christinisation, or the post-Christian Romans. The spread of Christianity in the Pagan Europe is no less violent than the spread of Islam in Asia and Africa. It is of little surprise that there is great deal of similarity between Christianity of that time and Islam.
