Jordan is Palestine.

Reader comment on item: Jordanians vs. Palestinians

There are two myths regarding the Palestinians. One that there is a people called Palestinians , the other that all Arabs are one UMMA,one nation, the Palestinians included.

One wonders which of the fallacies is more of a fallacy than the other.

The Arabs are one and the same when it comes to their origin. All Arabs are desert Arabs who wondered all over the middle east for many centuries..Some stayed in some places , others continued to wonder. The Arabs living in the west bank and Gaza and Jordan are all the same.So are the Arabs of Egypt and Lebanon. They have relatives all over the middle east.

There never was a Palestinian nation. This was invented when Israel was established for the purpose of delegitimize it.Supposedly the country belongs to the Palestinian people who inhabited it forever and ever.

While Arabs are mostly the same they were ,and are ,always busy in hating each other and fighting and killing each other.Untold numbers of Arabs/Muslims are being slughtered every year all over the Arab /Muslim world by other Muslims .

Ten thousands Palestinians were killed by the Jordanian king when they tried to take over Jordan. The infamous Blck September.

It is hard to blame the contemporary king of Jordan for not wanting anymore Palestinians in his "kingdom" being known for their violence,,however what he does by stripping the Palis of their Jordanian citizenship is comical.Jordan is the old Palestine. The one that was stolen by the British from the Jews and given to desert Arabs mostly to please the Saudi King who found oil in his sands.

Obama does not know it but the frictions between Arabs and Arabs in the middle east are worse than the frictions between Arabs and Israel. What Obama should have tried to do was to make peace in the Arab Umma.Peace in the Palestinian family itself - the Jordanians , Fatah and Gaza/Hamas.

For some reason Obama does not understand that Israel is not in the mood to commit suicide and that peace in the area will have to start with peace among Muslims, Iranians included not with not building Jewish homes in Jerusalem.

Obama's outlook is small , naive, childish. He stepped into a hopeless situation. He though that the Arabs will love him for breaking the rules of the game and falling hard on Israel...While he may lose a friend in Israel he will not gain a friend in the Arab world.

Sadly for the Palestinians they are always the victims of their brothers in the Arab world .Funny as this may sound, they get a lot more sympathy from Israel.

The mystery here is who put the idea that Israel will chase away the Palestinians from the west bank into Jordan in the Jordanian king's head.Who?
