It's tough to knock down the calumnies - rumor is the ruleReader comment on item: Pakistan's Jewish Problem Submitted by Solomon2 (United States), Jul 27, 2009 at 12:08 Over at the Pakistan Defence Forum the headlines scream, "Jews hell bent on destroying Pakistan". Most of this hysteria appears from a single manufactured quote by one of Israel's founding leaders, which I debunked to general satisfaction - but one of the moderators re-posted it only a few months later. This stuff resonates, the beast has to be killed again and again, but then the only topic of conversation becomes the beast and not what the beast has destroyed. The Pakistanis are sick, but not as sick as the Arabs. Hopefully the current successful offensive against the Taliban will breed more courage in their society. Sad to say, anti-Semitism/anti-Zionism is one of the last prejudices a peaceful civilization succeeds at eliminating.
