Legacy of Islamic anti-SemitismReader comment on item: Pakistan's Jewish Problem Submitted by S B (United States), Nov 26, 2009 at 22:43 Dear Sir, In an interview of Andrew Bostom (author of Legacy of Jihad), he says that what prompted him to write his second book (Legacy of anti-Semitism) was that during his research, he came to know about one Suhrindy (a contemporary Ulema of Akbar the Moghul leader). Suhrindy was dead opposed to all of Akbar's syncretic attitudes. In the middle of his diatribe against Hindus, Suhrindy suddenly makes a comment that "death of even one Jew makes pathways for Islam". What struck Mr. Bostom (as it would anyone else), was that this man Suhrindy, living in far away India, never had met a single Jew in his life and yet espoused such intense hatred. Given this, Pakistan's "Jewish" problem is no surprise. Neither is Malaysia's (remember moderate Mahathir Mohammed's speech ?) or Indonesia's Muslims, no matter how far they are from Jews.
