Explusion? what expulsion?

I saw in a BBC documentary on the 50 years of Israel, how the Palestinian leaders in Jerusalem in their radio broadcasts put a spin on Deir Yassin massacres as large scale rape of Arab women. This was done to goad Arab leaders into shame so that they fight Israel to avenge Arab honour.

In the event, it had the unintended consequence of frightening the arab populations into leaving Israel because Arabs fear rape more than massacres. So, they left en maase.
