Connecting the dots , or going nowhere ?

Acting on an intelligence tip, on November 10, 1995 the Jordanian government intercepted a shipment of 240 Russian missile-guidance gyroscopes and accelerometers bound for Iraq. The next month, between December 16 and 30, a team of Iraqi scuba divers were directed by UNSCOM to dredge the Tigris River near Baghdad. They pulled out more than 200 additional missile instruments and components. These parts, many bearing clearly identifiable serial numbers in Cyrillic script, included gas pressure regulators, accelerometers, GIMBAL position indicators, and gyroscopes.*1 These items, like those recovered earlier in Jordan, had come from dismantled Russian submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SS-N-18s) designed to deliver nuclear warheads to targets more than 4,000 miles away. This nuclear missile guidance systems were purchased by the late Saddam Hussein and uncovered by UNSCOM Inspectors. These guidance systems were sold to Saddam by Russian as scrap metal. (1)

Georges Sada's book Saddam's Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied and Survived Saddam Hussein , Saddam's Secrets is being marketed as the "book that proves Saddam secretly moved his WMDs to Syria" before the war. This is not a new accusation. It is an idea that has been suggested by U.S. weapons inspectors and Israeli intelligence sources. Sada's book offers no overwhelming new proof of the Iraq-Syria WMD connection . Georges spent his life in the Iraqi military He was one of Saddam Hussein's top military advisors , he was the number 2 man in the Iraqi Air Force . He worked with Saddam Hussein since 1968. (2)

Top Military equipment & WMDs moved to Syria 2002

Sada "Well, up to the year 2002, 2002, in summer, they were in Iraq. And after that, when Saddam realized that the inspectors are coming on the first of November and the Americans are coming, so he took the advantage of a natural disaster happened in Syria, a dam was broken. So he — he announced to the world that he is going to make an air bridge... They were moved by air and by ground, 56 sorties by jumbo, 747, and 27 were moved, after they were converted to cargo aircraft, they were moved to Syria, " (3)

Is it an educated guess that these Russian nuclear missile guidance systems were in these shipments to Syria, then found their way to Iran ? In addition could have Iran acquired these components the same way or other as the late Saddam Hussein did ?
