The Decline and Fall of Western CivilizationReader comment on item: The Saudis' Covert P.R. Campaign Submitted by Darwin Barrett (United States), Aug 10, 2004 at 20:20 There are many conspiracies, some related and some unrelated, but all self serving. In this case the speakers sell out the United States for their own personal gain. No big deal, it happens all the time. Every person in the spotlight has an agenda; every special interest group, every politician, every organization, every media group, every corporation. They all want what is best for them, and the rest of the world be damned. This is the natural result of ego based secular capitalism (the best system in the world, but inherently self destructive). This is all a part of a bigger picture, the decline and fall of western civilization, and the rise of Islam, China, and possibly India. The next 100 years are going to be very interesting....but that is just my opinion.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
