Difference between Islam and Communism

There are indeed many similarities between political Islam and communism but there is a fundamental difference that makes fight against political Islam more difficult. It was and is easy to criticize communism. But political Islam hides under the garb of a religion and so cannot be openly criticized. If you criticize communism, you will be called a hero. If you criticize political Islam, you will be called a bigot.
