Just a little spat

This is nothing. Obama is not going to take any concrete action on this issue. It is unfortunate. Currently we are isolated in world opinion (us and Israel against the world) by our "close, unshakable bond" with this place. Don't get me wrong, I have the greatest respect for Israel and I do believe they have a right to defend their state. However, the oppression, the occupation and wanton violent repression of Palestenian territories is counterproductive to both our countries. I understand that terrorism is difficult to deal with, but this doesn't work. Its merely pouring gasoline on a raging bonfire. The world is united in this opinion. That is, with the exception of Israel and the US.
