sami and capt dave: both of you are wrong

to sami- its kinda obvious he raped the girl. I mean, you really think the girl was voluntarily exported from her home country just so she could serve two disgusting idiots on crappy wage. human trafficking is such a grotesque problem that many are plain ignorant to or are in idiotic denial of it. If people are appaled by such acts, its not because of hate for islam (for the most part) but because its wrong. I'm a Muslim and don't see how you see him as innocent. if the evidence is there, then hes guilty. though there are people that just "hate us" there are still the other side that just "hates" the curruption that happens under the pretense of being under "Islam".

to capt dave- Your comment really has no foundation to it. its obvious your accusations are towords the media image of Islam and not the truth. Your ignorant opinion on how women get treated like cows and about slavery is just that, your opinion. Islam doesn't promote this at all. The whole point of Islam was to give rights to women who were neglected during the past. There are millions of muslim women (me being one) who are educated and independent, rather than the image of repression you paint for all muslim women. There are millions who are unrestricted and "free", but still follow Islam and its teachings. You have to realize that the repression that muslim women face in some areas are not because of relgion, but because of the old culture, culture made and enforced by men who either greed for power and wealth or are too blind to see anything else than whats already built into their political structure. Also your comparing Christianity and Islam as if their two distinct lines, and like "mine is better than yours" and for that your being immature. If you want to critisize Islam, then first get some facts, rather than your opinions. and then while your examining someone else's relgion so closely, have a look at yours for once. Its not as perfect as you claim it to be.
