Female genital mutilationReader comment on item: Female Genital Mutilation: A Guide to Laws and Policies Worldwide Submitted by Mohamed Hashi Dore (Kenya), Mar 29, 2010 at 18:33 in my point of veiw female Genital cutting is Haram in Islamic religion and every body who implement this kind of activity will be put to hell by our Allah, however, 70% of the somalis as well as the african practice this kind of bad deeds, Female genital mutilation, also called female genital cutting, refers to the removal of all or part of the female genitalia. Despite global efforts to promote abandonment of the practice, FGM/C remains widespread in many developing countries, and has spread to other parts of the world, such as Europe and North America, where some immigrant families have now settled those are originally from africa.
