The Only Way

Exactly what needs to be done regarding the Palestinians...although I've had some hope about Fayyad becoming a transformational leader if the Palestinians could be transformed in this generation...however, I don't know that much about him except I felt a glimmer of hope that he might be different than the rest of the PA leadership because he talked of building the institutions and economy that successful states are made of...is he as intractable an enemy as the rest of Fatah and the PA? Generallly speaking, I think most of the Islamic world needs to suffer psychological defeat before they might turn to a reinterpretation of their religion...and it may not happen even then...it may be the roots of the tree are diseased...
