All he says it a quote sounds like affirmative action. Come on, that is just ridiculous, there is absolutely nothing to back that up except for a biased host named Hannity. While NASA is designed to advance space technologies, that does not mean it cannot help smooth relations at the same time. Science is one of the few remaining uniting factors left in our world. Since many Americans can't see level on the Muslim world's culture and religion, science can help lessen the gap between our societies. The president is not saying NASA is going to drop its work on science to help mend cultures, but instead is making clear that NASA has a duty as the leader in technological innovation to reach out to the Muslim world.
