The real message of the NASA connection

What NASA can give Muslim nations is technology-the technology of launch vehicles and guidance. What Obama is really doing is signaling to Muslims in NASA that they can freely transfer technology to Iran and other Muslim nations,and Islamists, sensitive technology to help them improve their missile technlogy for whatever reasons they would want to do so. It also instructs NASA officials not to say no to requests and that his administration won't go after them no matter what they reveal. Obama may be ignorant about geopolitics and weakening Americas' position, but he is a super slick politician and knowlegeable of the ways of the world, especially the Muslim world he was raised in. His outreach to Muslims is heard very clearly where it is supposed to be heard.
