In Britain , Muslims own a good portion of corner shops, small "supermarkets", off-license liquor stores etc which liquor. The profitability and viability of the shop is the overriding concern. OTOH, the Muslim owned shops in Muslim dominating areas "ethnic enclaves" , will be more relgiously sensitive and have bold 'halal' notices and may even not serve liquor in restaurants.

As long as Saudi money and wahhabism does not enter a country, Muslims are as adaptable as anyone else
