The Travails of Modern IslamReader comment on item: The Travails of Modern Islam Submitted by steven L (United States), Oct 21, 2010 at 16:04 Problems: Islam is a religion that has evolved into an oppressive political system. There is No single authority. It has many shortcomings and must go through some kind of reformation. Its claim of superiority over everything else really suggests a complex of inferiority. Justified or not. The third issue is that the so called "moderate Muslims" immigrants are quickly infiltrated by extremists who blackmail their correligionaries into submission with the use of violence. Islam appears to require intense conditioning and blind submission. We are in the 21st century!
