Mass murder of Islamists largely ignored because our ox wasn't gored

That is likely because the large numbers of Muslims murdered by the Islamists has been largely ignored. Dr. Pipes missed an opportunity to show that here. For example the mass media has been focusing on the killing of Arabs by the Israelis. In the period 1948 to the present, the Israelis killed about 60,000 Arabs, in responding to attacks on them during four wars, intifadadas and fedayeen and other terrorist attacks. Operation Cast Lead added 1100- 1400 more in responding to 10,000 rocket and mortar attacks and there have been a few killed since then by the IAF responding to more rocket and mortar attacks or by the IDF in responding to attacks on Israeli civilians and the IDF.
