what if the government changes in IranReader comment on item: Further Reactions to My "Bomb Iran" Argument Submitted by myth (Germany), Nov 13, 2010 at 18:01 Peter, assume the US is waiting and finally an oppostion in Iran changes the government completely. A nuclear capability, or even the possibility of one is a huge source of political power. Such a new government would never surrender this ource of power given that it needs to establish itself. A nuclear armed, or alomst armed, somewhat friendlier Iran would even get conventional arms on top of it from western producers in order to discourage the nuclear option. That is why I disagree with you. Accepting nuclear arms in Iran will be one way or the other the ticket to a middle-east super power.
