Demand a Complete Destruction of Terror from Palestinians

Israel (and the US) must insist on the complete dismantlement and disarming (or destruction) of Palestinian Terror groups, as well as an end to incitement, educating hate, support for terror, etc.

Personally, I trust Pres. Bush more than John Kerry, Bill Clinton and any other non-Israeli political actor to support Israel on this, and to not offer up dangerous Israeli concessions as a bargaining chip with Tony Blair, the EU, the UN or th Arabs. The real danger comes from others in the administration, such as Colin Powell and the State Dept., that would offer up Israel on a silver platter for a Palestinian state at any price. The same can certainly be said about Tony Blair given his recent statements.

So while there may be risks to Israel post-Arafat, it is best for Israel that Bush is in the White House. Had John Kerry won, for instance, we may have been graced with Jimmy Carter or James Baker as a special mid-East enjoy.

I am also counting on people like yourself, Daniel Pipes, to use your well earned respect in this area to continue to advocate for a true peace, not an expedient false one.
