The theater of the absurd

Thank you Dr. Pipes for this little gem

A Turkish PM who is a despot (and who would put people in jail for stating that there was really an Armenian Genocide) accepts ja'zat al-qadhafi al-dawliyya lihuquq al-insan (al-Qadhafi international prize for human rights) from al-Qadhafi who is no more than another despot! If this is not the theater of the absurd then I have no clue what it is

The Arabs have a wonderful saying and it is: hamiha haramiha

Or he who is protecting it is the thief and in this case he who pretends to protect human rights is the one who is violating it
