And When Common Sense Does Finally Leave the Building - Only Biblical Truth RemainsReader comment on item: Back to the Shores of Tripoli? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Apr 18, 2011 at 17:56 We have traded much in observations, in that though we do not have a specific connection except through this series of posts, there is understanding between us. Even as there may be a perception of disparity in some thoughts-potentially as citizenship for each of us begins at a different place-there is also the basis for commonality in our shared thinking; and seeds of comparative observations for those things we see differently. I do have a basis for the 'old' traditional America, for as referenced before, it is my place of birth and heritage from before the Declaration of Independence and the application of the pure reading of the Constitution when applied to my various antecedents. It took until my middle ages to realize that what the law did to govern my forebears is longer applicable in the same way, even to the complete disregard of the various parts of the founding documents now under attack for the sake of destroying in these times what was honored and dearly paid for in American history. The idea that I hold to a transcendental position in the course of the current events in light of past events is a personal perception that I did not arrive at easily. In fact, the last transition of thought that brought about the most enlightening aspect of the circumstances we find America in is a result of actions of the presidency prior to the one we have now. I'll not belabor the issue; let it be sufficient to say that how America fits into the world scheme of things was dramatically altered to the extent that the actions of the current American Administration make more sense than they ever could out of context to the things we see happening in the world. This is because what we see happening in the world now makes perfect Biblical sense, something missing in previous observations. I cannot explain how that might work for anyone that does not have a Biblical world view that fits all parts of the Holy Bible together. That the circumstances verifies the verses of Scripture too many do not understand has got my spiritual radar running in full circumspection and I can only attribute that to my faith in Jesus Christ. Your observations of America all a-twitter for all the wrong reasons is dead-on. We need not recount your already precise observations; and I am only sorry your perceptions do not lead you to a similar conclusion I have come to about where America is heading if they do not get their act together. If they are thinking 9.0 and the after-wash of the Japanese tragedy is bad (funny how they have forgotten New Orleans), there is more to bring to peoples' attention if America does not change its composite moral attitude, not back a mere fifty years, but more like two-hundred years. We took on the north coast of Africa in the early 1800's and came away with more than a retreating nod to the Europeans of American principles in action. The questions are appropriately asked: where are those types of principles now? A multi-billion dollar defense budget does not carry as weight as the size of the American military at Thomas Jefferson's disposal. I do look at things from a decidedly Biblical perspective because the world has long ago lost any sense of absolute moral direction outside of the Biblical one. I trust in it implicitly for it does not fail me. The Truth in Jesus Christ has crystallized the direction all things are going and I have no doubt that what He said near two-thousand years ago is happening as we watch today. Therein lays my assurance and extreme level of comfort. That is what I tried to impart earlier; and it is what I have tried to share as we see that the world cannot help itself on its path to the destinies that are no longer apparent to those who have made themselves oblivious to the Biblical truth. This is the Passion Week; that of the fact of Israel's king in His first appearance to His people nearly two thousand years ago. He died of the cross then for the sins of mankind, but with the promise of His return from His place of ascension from the dead at an appointed time. His resurrected life is the basis for all history to stand up and notice Israel, the place of His prophetical return. And by all indications, the world seems ready to accommodate just that very thing, whether they think so or not. Islam is ready to make it all happen, if given the chance. Look around and see who is really going to be able to stand up to Islam except the chosen one of Israel. They are the ones, after all is said and done, to watch; for they have been given the command: to watch for HaMashiach. THAT is the point of the Revelation.
