Hisba and Morris SadekReader comment on item: Tantawi – The New Mubarak? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), May 26, 2011 at 06:48 al-Masry al-Youm (5/26/2011) quotes Morris Sadek as saying in response to the verdict of the Egyptian judge that he will be stripped of his Egyptian citizenship: "I will not appeal the verdict. I will use it to show the world how the islamists control the judiciary" I still believe that the case will end in a higher court and then if the verdict is still to strip him of his citizenship then it has to go to mahkamet al-qada' al-3ali which I understand is not unlike our supreme court and if the verdict is still to strip him of his citizenship then the president of Egypt has to sign the document but this does not seem to ever happen so we have to wait and see Oh and what did he do to deserve such verdict? he is telling whoever is listening that Islam is evil Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
