Wahine from my beloved Aotearoa, clearly my comments on France went straight over your head. Your hatred clouds your ability to distinguish between facts and hype.

Europe were on the colonial path long before the Arabs or Muslims ventured out. Check your history.

If you want to read about Islamic history I could give you some titles. How about Bilal Cleland's "A History of Islam in Australia"; he is a white anglo-saxon and a proud Australian who also happens to be a Muslim. There are other publications by many non-Muslim historians who could give you a relative balanced picture free of hype and stereotypes.

The first Muslims actually did come to Oz long ago. Read about the Ghans!

Statistics actually show most converts to Islam are actually in western countries - from countries as far away as Finland and Uruguay. In fact, where they have lost a bit of ground is among some tribes in Africa who have been converted by Christian missionaries. So, there goes your contention about Muslim Da'wa focussing on indigenous people. The number of white Australians accepting Islam far exceeds the number of Aboriginals who did. If you are interested in this topic I suggest you read "Islam Dreaming:Indigenous Muslims in Australia" written by a non-Muslim, non-Indigenous Australian.

Oh, on the subject of reading, I doubt that you have read much ... on Islam or imperialism, or France, or Aboriginal Australians, as ... I am happy to engage on any of these topics.
