In responce to "Replies to Linda, Adam, and Jody"Reader comment on item: The Muslims are Coming! The Muslims are Coming! Submitted by Jodie (United Kingdom), Jan 16, 2006 at 14:34 Many people do not follow the Shariah, many Muslim countries are being ruled by corrupt leaders and many people interpret the Quran wrong, with all this happening Im not surprised that poor Muslims exist. The Israeli Arab conflict is a lot more complicated than that. Both sides believe the land is theirs. Lets not forget that just like some Palestinians, some Jews do not like to share land. The Quran may say to conquer, but you cant just read it and thats it, you know everything. You have to understand why the Quran says whatever it says. Back in those days, Muslims were being persecuted in many nations so the other Muslims would Conquer the land, to make sure that it stops, that is one explanation. The Quran has many contradictions simply because of the times for example in one part of the Quran it says "do not enter the mosque drunk" in another, it says "do not drink at all" (this is because it would be easier for the people to take it one step at a time).
