an AddonReader comment on item: Turkey's Last Free Election Submitted by Bazoonah (United Kingdom), Jun 20, 2011 at 04:17 FYI, rather getting along with your analysis, the topic is basically a pick and choose style, which you followed quite well, to generalise and say the turks are liars (which you've said) then this is simply the same naive binladen notion where he said that all americans are bad and considered enemies. well done for you being so specific about a whole nation. my point is quite simple, if the paranoia you mentioned is in turkey then it is simple a reflection of the whole paranoid world you and me are living in. US/EU is a great example of parania nowadays. my question is quite simple. since all these stories exist (in your views) within turkey and as lethal as it seems to be. then why is it that the US/EU still keeping them as an ally? or is it just the mistake of accepting people's choice to elect their leader. and not trying to intervene with their destiny. ( I have a long list of countries where US/EU intervened and now they are in bad state than they were before)
