replyReader comment on item: Learning in Arabic about Jews and Judaism Submitted by Kyle Katarn (Morocco), Sep 16, 2011 at 11:32 a little old topic, but just to make things a little clear being from morocco. first of all , i speak every language that is used around here, and i have to say...the word Pepsi in arabic or any other language that we use here has no meaning...it does not mean Jew or even remotely close to that word or anything... secondly, the idea that Pepsi is a 'Jewish' brand has indeed been one of those mislead ideas being spread around the country at the early of this millinium..by who? mostly stores and supermarkets that only sell coca-cola drinks in order to increase their revenue, cheap shot by coca-cola if you ask me.. if you knew pepsi, you would know that it has the highest selling rate in the arabian peninsuela (saudi arabia included) and nearby arabian countries, so its really the other way around..
