Up to Israel to do what is good for herReader comment on item: Gilad Shalit and Doing Business with Terrorists Submitted by NuritG (United States), Oct 20, 2011 at 21:23 Neither the Grand Old Party (FOP) the Republican Party or the Democrats were good for Israel. Obama is the worst president for Israel, the most anti-Israel present ever in the history of the USA. Clinton pushed the Oslo disaster and Bush pushed for the Road Map and turning Gaza to the hands of Hamas. It is up to Israel to do what is good for her not what is good for the Clintons and the Bushes of the world. The US State Department is totally anti-Israel, rotten to the core when it comes to Israel; they are Arabists, married to the Islamonazis oil tyrants. But if I had my druthers, I vote for the GOP. The democrat are communists and insane. Obama is a disaster to the USA. From Dr. Boaz Ganor, Israel's head of ICT - The International Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism: Now after the exchange of one Israeli soldier for 1027 bestial genocidal terrorist, it is time for Israel to change polity. It the terrorists want to come to an agreement, they will do so if the alternative is no agreement. Based on the new policy, Arab terrorist (I refuse calling them "Palestinian"), who deliberately attack Israeli military and security member is an enemy of the state and better to kill him in battle than to capture him. But if captured, he will not have a trial, not be sentenced, rather be sent to a POW camp and held there until such time there is an exchange or peace deal struck. Terrorist who hurt civilians, is a war criminal. If captured, he/she will be trialed and sentenced, and must serve his/her entire sentence and not released on day earlier. The release of murderous terrorists before they served their sentence makes a mockery and is a slap on the face on the Israeli justice system that can lead to citizens taking the law in their own hands, lead to Jewish terror justice. They will justify their actions that since the Israeli justice system cannot carry out its job, they will carry it privately. Late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, in the 1970's said that military option is preferred even if it endangers the hostage. Israel must adhere to such policy. You only negotiate if all military options are no longer possible. The Hamas applied psychological war on Israel and they won as Israel did not take any measures and did nothing to those they wanted released such as harsh their jail conditions and disallow family visits.
