Unfathomable that this situation continues

The tragic issue of the so called Palestinian 'refugees' is an insurmountable impediment to any real peace negotiations. First, the manner in which they were originally classified as 'refugees' left the door open for that status to be claimed by untold numbers of 'descendants', many of who have long since resettled in other countries. It should be recognized as a disgrace that Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Jordan have refused to grant citizenship to their resident Palestinians in the hopes that they can use them as a wedge and bargaining chip to eliminate Israel. They should be ashamed of treating their citizens in such a manner. And the world should be ashamed for not calling them out.
