a sharper point

Let me put an even sharper point to this: In the near future the staff of UNRWA bureaucrats will exceed the number of actual refugees administered.

To me this illustrates a trend in politics. Creating a bureaucratic structure to deal with a particular problem is designed to place that very problem outside of law and order, let alone common sense.
