There Are Reasons for Anti-Muslim Sentiment

Muslims, some, politely and gentlemanly like yourself, ask for tolerance of their religion and its views. Others, not so polite and well-spoken, demand tolerance for their religion and its views. Others threaten and harangue that their views be respected. And others, perhaps a small minority, but still a component of the universe of Muslims, throw bombs and slit throats killing people when, in their judgement there has been some disrespect of their religion and its views.

The same people, all of the above, will not grant the same tolerance and respect to other religions and other points of view. Muslims require tolerance and respect that they do not grant to others. Look at the PA public school text books for elementary school students, for example. Why do Muslims think that is acceptable, but cartoons in a newspaper or jokes on a TV comedy show are not acceptable.

Do you really not understand that this makes all people resent all Muslims When Author Rushdie has to hide for fear of his life? This is the Religion of Peace?

Do you really not understand that when South Park, which is in the business of making jokes, refrains from making jokes about Muslims, about Muslim religion, about Mohamed, this makes other people resent and fear Muslims and their intolerance.

Do you really not understand that when that Dutch film maker was murdered by a Muslim because Muslims did not like his film, other people dislike Muslims. Do you really not understand this? And if you do not, why not?

Muslims demand tolerance and respect yet will not grant the same to others. Period. And that is the long and the short of it. This is one of the basic tenets of Western, Judeo Christian civilization and it is the culture of the West.

Muslims come here seeking to benefit from that culture and proceed to complain about the parts of that culture they do not approve and even then seek to change the culture to conform to their idea of the way things should be. Western culture is like a buffet - just take what you like and leave the rest. The Muslim way seems to be to overturn the table so that nobody is able to partake and enjoy.

Tolerance generates tolerance and vice-versa. It is simple as that.

That is not the way
