One way bridge- as it has always beenReader comment on item: Islam's Cartoon Missionaries Submitted by sara (United States), Apr 18, 2012 at 17:02 I have been saying that for years, and I think I wrote it to you in a comment recently- that the bridge between Islam and the West is a one-way bridge. They want to teach us about Islam but have absolutely no intention of integrating into the West. All of these faux-interfaith 'dialogues' are only an excuse for them to glorify Islam and spread da'wah. Look closely at these publicized events and you will inevitably find that it is a Christian or Jewish group visiting an Islamic one, or it consists of invited Muslim speakers to speak about their faith. I am sick and tired of the facade and that everyone seems to be buying into it. It is supremely frustrating for those of us who see the reality. It also reminds me of the faux-panels set up around universities to have a 'dialogue' between Arabs and Israelis, but when you take a closer look, the token Israeli is a rabid anti-Zionist. They get away with that too. I find it very sad that Jews bend over backwards to portray the other side, making movies, documentaries, etc to portray the plight of the Palestinians while you will never ever find an Arab making a movie that shows Jews or Israelis in even an objective, let alone positive, light.
