Denial: A River in Egypt?

Obama and his supporters have issued a number of hollow denials that he is (or, for a good part of his life, was) a Muslim. When you listen to his speeches to Muslims, such as the Cairo address, there are a number of "tells" that contradict those denials. I can't remember the exact quote, but he did say something to the effect of working toward a world "of peace." Of course everyone wants peace. But there is a very specific goal when pursuing the dar al islam vs. dar al harb. Watch the speech and you'll hear it right away--it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Like the Jesuits used to say, "Give me a child until he is seven and you can have him for the rest of his life," I believe that Obama's childhood will always be a big part of his identity.

And really, with his history and his name, I am tired of people saying that anyone who thinks he's a Muslim is jumping to a baseless conclusion. That's like saying it's wrong to assume that a woman is or was Catholic even if she is named Margaret Mary O'Doyle, attended Sacred Heart Academy and was president of the Sodality of Our Lady club.
