... The author continues to falsely claim that one's religion is passed on by the father in Islam. This is of course patently untrue, one must accept the faith as an adult and commit to it as an adult. The biography that the author lists would by his own admission that Mr. Obama's father was either an atheist or from a muslim perspective an apostate. Meaning even accepting his erroneous statement regarding paternal passage Mr. Obama would not fit the description of inheriting the religion.. In fact if Mr. Obama's father were either of these atheist or apostate in order to be Muslim Mr. Obama again would have to make the choice, it is not inherited like a rug.
