Thank youReader comment on item: Islamism's Unity in Tunisia Submitted by DEBORAH THE JUDGE (United States), Nov 9, 2012 at 10:02 As usual, Ianus, I have gained some lucidity to things that I have pondered myself. Thank you for this. I have a vague memory of these adherers to Islam being referred to as Moslems, and remember the term Mahometanism used by a grandfather, in spite of being very young and raised in a homogenous American small town. I asked an Egyptian (really of Arab descent) a few years back why the title change. He squirmed and said he really didn't know, but that muslim and moslem were probably the same. Today every political, economic, social, and authentic religious base is being sabotaged by deception and disinformation/propaganda. This is exactly the source of the recent diabolical outcome of our so-called election. The softball term "dumbing down" has been used to help explain it in part. But the human brain operates on a sophisticated language recognition system, so if the language base is corrupted, so is one's perception. The people of Mahometanism and its hate-filled murderous system should be referred correctly as Moslems. Hemlock called by any other name would still be as poisonous.
