No such thing as moderate Muslim

Dear Dr Pipes:

To qualify as moderate, a person must accept some faults of his religion, occasionally show interests in secular issues, and at least some times stand up --with words and deeds-- for people belonging to other religions (even when it involves opposing his/her own religion). Even the, so called, moderate Muslims that we see among us do not meet these three criteria (Try Fareed Zakaria). There is no such thing as moderate muslim.
